How will the service be performed?
  • Your HVAC service company will perform the disinfection of your HVAC unit by removing the access cover from the A-coil and fan blower cabinet.  D7 will then be sprayed on the blower cabinet and will be applied to the A-coil and the drain pan.
  • The A-coil and drain pan are the components with the highest incident of pathogens and mold.  It has long been known that black mold, SARS-Co-V2 (COVID-19), and other pathogens find a perfect breeding ground due to the highly humid nature of an AC unit. The fins of the A-coil and the drain pan must be disinfected to kill these pathogens before they are blown about your home.
Will there be any smell after the service?

You may experience a slight odor from the application of the D7 chemistry for the first few hours after treatment. The odor will dissipate within the first few hours. This is how you know the HVAC System is being sanitized and disinfected. Most applications result in very little to no odor at all. You can also spray common household fragrances or open windows if you find the smell offensive.

How long will the service take?
Adding D7 to your regular service will only add 15 minutes to the service.
